Tigger Online Trading Virus
Not particularly related to Warrn Buffet, but a word of warning. Take care, there is a virus out there that is attacking people active online performing online stock trades . It's name is Tigger or Syzor and it has been around since November apparently, since when it has infected 250,000 PCs.
It only attacks Microsoft's operating ssytem and the first thing it does is to remove any other malware it finds, so as to not draw attention to the possibility that there is a virus on the computer.
It hen sets about taking screen shots and logging every key you type on your computer to see where you go and what your passwords are !
It is particularly interested in online trading accounts with the following companies - E-Trade, ING Direct ShareBuilder, Vanguard, Options XPress, TD Ameritrade and Scottrade.
For some reason the media do not seem too interested in its existence, which in itself seems rather odd, maybe it has infiltrated media networks and is removing all reference to itself in media reports ! Now that would be something.
Needless to say you are warned that you need to update your anti-virus software - but even this seems to be of limited effect - another way of dealing with viruses and the "Tigger virus" in particular is to set up a limited user account on your computer - see link to Tigger virus on how to do that
