How did the Oracle of Omaha get to be so rich ? Determination, focus, and a lot of reading of company accounts. He buys good companies that will be around in 50 years time, although his latest purchase of Goldman Sachs shares is looking a bit flakey at the moment.

To know whether his recent decisions have been wise moves or not we will have to wait 5 years at least, as he only invests at for the long-term and does not claim to be able to time his buys perfectly.
